A Dermatologist is a physician who is trained to evaluate and treat children and adults with benign and malignant disorders of the skin, hair, nails, and adjacent mucous membranes. The Dermatologist is responsible for providing medical services to Health Center patients in the field of Dermatology specialization, which the physician completed training in. The Dermatologist is in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows consultation, collaboration, or referral. Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long-term conditions.
