Supporting healthy childhoods

We recognize that growing and staying healthy is easier for children when parents and caregivers have the support and resources they need. We provide a number of programs to help parents and caregivers give the best start they can to their children.

Prenatal and Postnatal Care

Keeping moms and babies healthy and helping moms adjust physically and mentally to their new roles.

Nutritional Counseling

Eating good food is critical to growing bodies and minds. View our nutrition programs and resources.

HIV/AIDS Care

Resources and Services

Our Perinatal and Infant Community Health Collaborative (PICHC) can connect you to health care resources.

WIC Program

The Women, Infants, and Child Program can help supplement your monthly food budget and give you valuable support and resources.

Paying for your child’s care

We’ve got you covered. We take most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, Empire Plan, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Don’t have health care insurance? Many of our locations have NYS Facilitated Health Insurance Representatives on site who can help you find the best health care plan for your family and your budget. If you qualify, your child may be eligible for free or low-cost health insurance options like the Prenatal Care Program or Child Health Plus. If you aren’t eligible for health insurance, we have an affordable sliding fee program.

Same-day care for your child

We have walk-in care appointments at several of our locations for non-emergency pediatric visits. Please view our walk-in care page to see if your child’s health condition is a non-emergency or whether you should visit a hospital emergency room or call 911. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-come basis.

Walk-In Care Locations

Did you know your child can receive medical care while in school?

We operate a school-based health center at Edward Williams Elementary School during the school day. This helps to ensure continuity of care plus gives you, the parent, peace of mind knowing that your child’s health needs are being met.
