On October 26, Greenburgh Health Center in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Region 2, hosted a Get Out the Vax event at its Fall Health Fair. Speakers, including Dr. Dara Kass, Region 2 Director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Dr. Markos Asamenew, Chief Medical Officer at MVNHC, spoke about the role of vaccines in keeping individuals and families healthy, especially during the upcoming holiday season. Over 200 people who received a COVID-19 booster vaccine also received a gift card, snacks, and drinks. Young children enjoyed face painting, pumpkins, and Halloween treats.
