Home | For Patients | 340B Drug Discount Pricing Program

Receive up to 70% off on your prescriptions.

We participate in the 340B Drug Discount Pricing Program. Our patients are eligible for prescription discounts at 340B pharmacies we contract with. The 340B Program helps patients pay for medication that insurance does not cover and assists patients with their copayments. It helps to pay for medication when the patient doesn’t have health insurance.

340B Drug Discount Plan helps our patients afford their prescription drugs.

Am I eligible for drug discounts?

You automatically qualify for 340B Drugs if:

  • You are a patient registered with Westchester Community Health Center (WCHC), and
  • You have your prescription written by a WCHC doctor or dentist at any of our locations, and
  • You have Medicaid Managed Care, another private health insurance, or no health insurance

The Program does not disqualify anyone based on their immigration status or income level.

If you are covered under straight Medicaid, you do not qualify for WCHC’s 340B Program since your Medicaid plan already covers low-cost prescription drugs.

How does it work?

The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a Federal Government program. As part of Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act of 1994, pharmaceutical manufacturers who participate in the Medicaid Program must sell drugs at lower prices to 340B-approved community health center patients. Local and online pharmacies that elect to participate in the 340B Program can buy these discounted drugs and pass along the savings to our patients.

Where are our contracted 340B pharmacies?
