Westchester Community Health Center, news12, and the City of Mount Vernon invite you to a School Backpack Giveaway on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at WCHC Mount Vernon, 107 West Fourth Street, Mount Vernon, NY. Bring the whole family for bouncy castle fun, DJ music, and snacks provided by Goya!

Backpacks will have school supplies inside and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited to one bag per child while supplies last.

Free and open to the public.

Backpacks generously donated by news12, Optimum, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

All vendors must be on site between 8:00 am - 9:30 am to set up their booth. The event is held outdoors. Please bring your own tent (10' x 10'), table, and chair(s). Please note: all vendors are required to wait until 1 pm to pull down their booth/display.

I understand that by submitting this vendor request form, I do hereby release Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center, Inc. d/b/a Westchester Community Health Center, its agents, servants, employees, insurers, successors and assigns, from any and all liability for damages or injuries on account of or in any way related to or growing out of my negligence, the negligence of third parties, and the Heath Center’s negligence, or that might occur as a result of my organization’s vendor participation at the School Backpack Giveaway event.

I agree that I will read a copy of the current rules and regulations governing the use of the facility and that I will fully comply with all rules and regulations and with any amendments.

I agree that any violation of terms and conditions, as determined by the Heath Center, will void and terminate any agreement with the Health Center and may result in loss of the ability to use the facility.
