NYBC Blood Drive

Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. This October, New York Blood Center is teaming up with the community to show up for those fighting breast cancer, and for every patient who depends on a safe, steady blood supply. One donation can help save up to three lives. it takes less than an hour of your time, but it can give someone so much more. Share your strength. Give blood.

Prepare to Donate. A little prep goes a long way. Here’s how to make your donation quick, comfortable, and worry-free:

• Eat well and hydrate
• Bring a photo ID
• Feel good and symptom free
• Meet minimum weight requirement
• Be 17+ or 16 with parental concent form.
