Food is Medicine – WCHC Mount Vernon

Sign up to receive free groceries and produce with our Food is Medicine Program! Starting July 2023, our WCHC Mount Vernon location will be open for free food pick-up between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. twice a month (see calendar). Representatives from Feeding Westchester will be on hand to help enroll patients in the NY Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Plan (SNAP).

To be eligible for the program, you must have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes with documentation from your healthcare provider, must be able to attend all distribution days to pick up food, and must participate in nutrition education at least once per month
