On Saturday, October 29, Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center was the first stop on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nationwide #VAXUPAMERICA Family Vaccine Tour. Almost 200 people showed up at Mount Vernon's Fall Health Fair & Vax Clinic event to be vaccinated.
On October 26, Greenburgh Health Center hosted a Get Out the Vax event at its Fall Health Fair. Speakers, including Dr. Dara Kass, Region 2 Director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Dr. Markos Asamenew, Chief Medical Officer at Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center, spoke on the role of vaccines in keeping individuals and families healthy, especially during the upcoming holiday season.
